Vision, Hearing, and Orthopedic Screening

Vision & Hearing Screening for all 7th grade students and any other student referred took will take place by the end of November. A referral letter will be sent home to parents of all students who did not pass any of the screenings.  Gift certificates are available for students for a free eye exam and one pair of glasses if you do not have vision insurance. Please return the completed referral letters to the nurse's office.

Postural screening, also know as scoliosis screening, an assessment of the back,  includes all PMS students.  The purpose of this screening is to detect signs of spinal curvature at their earliest stages so that the need for treatment can be determined.  A letter will be sent home if a student did not pass  the Postural screening.
